Pistol — Chapter 2: Regroup
Area: Valley of Ashes. During the bridge platforming section, look for the train car on the left. Enter it and pick up the Pistol. This is a required pickup on the route forward.
If you are still in Chapter 1, continue the story first. The Chapter 2 location is not an opening-battlefield pickup.
Blunderbuss — Chapter 3: Rendezvous
Area: Fallen Village, after the Fields Lantern.
- Continue through Fields until you meet the Volunteer carrying a large sword.
- Defeat the Volunteer and enter the carriage behind it.
- Take the Blunderbuss from the table. Picking it up opens the path through the other side of the carriage.
Look inside the carriage rather than trying to farm the enemy for a random drop.
Musket — Chapter 5: Crime
Area: Vale of Wrath, beyond Under the Bridge.
- Continue from Under the Bridge until you reach the fort.
- Defeat the Volunteer wielding two swords to obtain the Wagon Key.
- Use the key to enter the wagon in the middle of the area.
- Pick up the Musket from the table inside.
If the wagon is still locked, check that you have defeated the double-sword Volunteer and collected its key.
